On 3rd November 2023, the Noida Police got a tip about a rave party where foreign girls and snake venoms were being supplied. After the raid, Noida Police booked Elvish Yadav and arrested five people for the alleged use of snake venom at rave parties.Those arrested were identified as Rahul (32), Teetunath (45), Jaikaran (50), Narayan (50) and Ravinath (45), all residents of Moharband village in southeast Delhi’s Badarpur. Elvish was accused of organising rave parties where endangered snakes and snake venom were being supplied.

 The police recovered 20 millilitres of snake venom, five cobras, a python, two two-headed snakes, and a rat snake from those arrested from Chevron banquet hall in Sector 51 in connection with allegedly running an organised group that supplies snake venom at rave parties in the NCR. This came a day after the police landed at a rave in Noida’s Sector 51 following a complaint by Gaurav Gupta of People for Animals (PFA), an animal welfare organisation founded by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Maneka Gandhi.

Yadav has maintained his innocence while crying in his X’s posts and said that the allegations against him are “baseless” and “fake”.
