The construction of the Shree Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has been a topic of immense controversy and debate. The dispute surrounding the existence and rightful ownership of the land has spanned decades, with emotions running high on both sides. The UP elections in 1991 was totally fought on Shree Ram Mandir in AyodhyaDham. In these elections, the party who was fighting for Shree Ram Mandir, Bhartiya Janta Party was defeated. After the ground breaking ceremony of victory of few parties who were doing politics of appeasement, raised this slogan in support of Babri Masjid.

After the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh in the nineties, the slogan ‘Mile Mulayam-Kanshi Ram, Hawa mein Ud Gaye Jaishree Ram, Baki Ram Jhoote Asli Ram Kanshi Ram’ was raised. This slogan brought about a significant change in the political chessboard. The creator of this slogan, which is considered strong, is former BSP leader of Etawah, Khadim Abbas.

The statement – ‘Mile Mulayam-Kanshi Ram, Hawa mein Ud Gaye Jaishree Ram, Baki Ram Jhoote Asli Ram Kanshi Ram’ is very controversial as it hurts the religious sentiments of devotees of Bhagwan Shree Ram. 

Shree Ram Mandir, AyodhyaDham: Shree Ram is a myth.

This controversial statement started when Indian government wanted to make an 83-km-long canal through the sea channel separating India and Sri Lanka, thereby facilitating shipping. But the Sangh Parivar (RSS) has contented that the dredging operations would destroy the ‘Ram Setu’, built by Ram to cross over into Lanka, which would deeply offend the sentiments of millions of devotees.

The statement – Shree Ram is a myth was peddled by many communist historians to attack Hindu ideologies and culture. Communists, who are heavily influenced by Chinese ideology, believe in atheism and oppose any culture that is based on religious grounds.

Shree Ram Mandir, AyodhyaDham: Temple will not give you food.

The statement is passed many times against the construction of Shree Ram Mandir. The best reply came from RSS Pramukh Mohan Bhagwat on this controversial statement – If There was no temple then were you getting bread? (अगर मंदिर नहीं था तो रोटी मिल रही थी क्या? ) 

Political parties and people should understand that Temple is not to fulfil your wishes but it is place for devotion. People and political parties should not play politics on such issues.

Shree Ram Mandir, AyodhyaDham: Mandir wahi banayenge, Tareekh nahi batayenge.

The statement was propelled by political parties to make a sentiment against another political party Bhartiya Janta Party. Bhartiya Janta Party was the only party who was fighting in support of construction of Shree Ram Mandir, while other parties were against it to play politics of appeasement to gain votes of a single community.
Now the date is confirmed and it is 22nd January, 2023, when whole world will see inauguration of temple.

Shree Ram Mandir, AyodhyaDham: Make a university or hospital on the disputed land.

Few political parties were peddling this ideology to gain the votes of intellectuals who supported only modern developments would do good for the country. Temple will take us in the backward direction.

But the question is, how a small part of land will decide the future of a country. A university or hospital can be constructed anywhere in the country. A land that connects a person religiously with it root, will not take him backward but it will help him to gain his “Higher Self”
